be-uke-aful ukeleles
Look at our beautiful new ukeleles! We have been busy practising and can now play between 3-6 chords. The songs we are working on are Pa Mai, That's Aotearoa and (wait for it) .... The ukelele song! When we get a little bit better, Miss T is going to teach us how to record ourselves for the blog and then you will be able to hear our sweet singing and playing. The East Otago inaugural choral jam is coming up in April so we will be looking for parents/caregivers and members of our extended whanau to accompany us on the stage - it is a bit scary for such a small group of children to get up on the stage on their own so we need your help!

We're Here!
NOT to be outdone by the cunning juniors - I have forced Miss Trusler to teach me how to blog! It's a hard job to teach an old dog new tricks but I am hoping that she will have more success with the Senior children who will take to it much more readily than I! All I can say is...WATCH THIS SPACE!
